I started taking these after Prevention magazine reported that people with high vitamin D levels at the start of a diet tend to lose more weight. I realized I should probably be taking them anyway, as I pretty much see no sunlight for large chunks of the day. I love these pills – they’re super small and very easy to swallow.
These little tiny perles are so easy to take it’s a pleasure. My doctor told me that for high immunity he would recommend maintaining a blood level of 75-80 ng/mL. After a month on 5000 a day (one perle) he checked my level and it was only 35. He’s having me take 2 a day, 10,000 units, for 3 months and will check again. The correct test is called “25 Hydroxyvitamin D”.

“My pediatrician recommended that while I’m breastfeeding my son, I take a vitamin D supplement. This was such a great value. The pills are teeny, smaller than my pinkie fingernail, which is a big plus for me. During my pregnancy I had to take 20+ pills a day and they’re all huge. Having only one tiny pill for my vitamin D is so nice. These are easy to swallow and have so much vitamin D. “

“I started taking these after a blood test that revealed my Vit. D levels were low. This is mainly due to spending a lot of time indoors and a lack of direct sunlight. This is apparently a very common problem in America today, due to all the indoor office jobs and TV watching that we do. After a second blood test and takin these for a couple months my levels are healthy and normal. “
I first started looking into vitamin D because I follow Project Camelot on the internet and one of their “black op” sources Henry Deacon recommends taking vitamin D for various reasons. I saw the documentary by German Dr. Gabrielle Stahler and she really makes all the great points about taking this.
She recommends getting your levels checked (which I can’t w/o health insurance), but if going blind she says take the 5,000 IU for 4-5 months and then drop down to 2,000 – 3,000 units once the levels are boosted. It has been almost 4 months of daily 5,000 and I can’t say it’s a miracle cure or anything. I have gotten the flu twice in a month – the 5 day ones.
I have noticed an improvement in fighting smaller sicknesses, energy improvement, awareness, mood boosting, etc. I will continue to take the 2,500 daily. A good and cheap product. I will never take one of those thermiacal (mercury preservative) containing vaccines. Vitamin D is an important thing for me to protect against swine flu or any other media hyped pandemic.
