review Kirkland Signature Roasted Spanish Marcona Almonds with Sea Salt - NEW 17.63 OZ (500G)Quite Good Blanched Almonds. Lightly Salted.,April 20, 2012 By Gary Peterson (San Diego, California USA)

Last week when I was shopping at Costco, I noticed a new item : Kirkland Signature Marcona Almonds.

Of course, I had to try them. They’re quite good blanched Marcona Almonds lightly dusted with sea salt. Of course the calories are high from the fat, but it’s largely non-saturated fat with no trans-fats.

The protein and fiber content are moderate. These tasty nuts come in a squarish plastic jar (17.63 ounces) with a large screw lid. I like these jars to keep the nuts fresh and too use for other things when the nuts are gone. This product is also available on line, of course.”

Excellent product,July 15, 2011 By Judi from Chicago (Chicago, IL)

I fell in love with Marcona almonds when in California a few months ago. I found these on Amazon and they are worth every penny. These almonds are also the best price I could find on the internet and since I don’t belong to Costco this was a perfect way to buy them. Marcona almonds are hard to find and they are usually very pricey. This is a great buy. ”

  • Lightly roasted in sunflower oil and seasoned with sea salt
  • Very flat and almost heart shaped

Kirkland Signature Marconas are lightly roasted in sunflower oil and seasoned with sea salt. They have a crunchy texture and a sweet buttery flavor. Unique to the Mediterranean coast of Spain, treasured by the Spanish, the Marcona almond, unlike traditional almonds, is very flat and almost heart shaped.

The oil is different- and that’s important!,January 15, 2011 By C.E.Lattouf (mission viejo, California, US)

“The cheaper plastic container has peanut oil, the can has sunflower oil. The sunflower oil is good for you, peanut oil- not so much. Also-the flavor is much better w/sunflower oil! Now if I could just talk Costco into ordering the product w/sunflower oil- that would be great, we love them! “

Costco has these for under $8,June 2, 2011 By L. Croker “Happy Hiker” (San Jose, CA)

These marcona almonds are delicious and I definitely prefer them over the basic almond. I picked up this exact item (same brand, same size, same everything) for around $7.50 at Costco. Not sure why these are worth $10 more. Seems a little nutty! (hahaha) “
