“I had never had Kicking Horse coffee before,but bought it on the strength of Amazon Prime eligibility, organic certification, and the many positive reviews. The other reviewers are right – this coffee does not disappoint. When I first tasted it, it seemed a little too dark, even for me, and I typically like my coffee quite dark. However, adding just a touch of cream really opened it up, allowing the flavors to develop and mellow.
Instantly, it went from being a very good of dark coffee (when black) to being a perfect cup of rich, smoky coffee (with cream). This is a really good coffee at a REALLY good price; just know that unlike so many coffees advertising themselves as “dark” or “strong,” this one actually is. Enjoy! “
